The Journal of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology, Pathology and Surgery (3DJ) is a fully open-access, peer-reviewed journal. We are dedicated to the unrestricted sharing of knowledge and adhere to the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
🔹 Access and Usage Rights
All published articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication. Users are permitted to:
- Read, download, copy, distribute, print, and link to the full texts of articles

- Share and adapt the work, provided proper citation is given
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, as long as the original work is properly cited.

Authors retain full copyright of their articles. By submitting to 3DJ, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the work under the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.
Authors are permitted to:

🔹Article Processing Charges (APC)
3DJ does not charge any fees at any stage of the publishing process.
This includes:
- Submission fees
- Editorial or peer-review processing fees
- Publication or hosting fees
- Charges for figures, color images, or article length
Both authors and readers have completely free access to all content.
🔹 Archiving and Digital Preservation
To ensure long-term preservation and access to the journal's content:
- All published articles receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
- Full-text content is archived in institutional and national open-access repositories
- Articles are stored on secure servers with regular backups
- In the event of journal discontinuation, content will remain accessible through affiliated repositories and platforms
